Yirmiyahu Moriel Gilbert is an architectural designer with roots in fine arts, graphic design, and sustainability.

Yirmi has collaborated with respected firms across a variety of scales and contexts, including major housing and commercial developments, higher ed and cultural spaces, adaptive reuse of historic sites, and more.

Drawing on his interdisciplinary background, Yirmi approaches each project through a holistic lens—striving to create architecture which imbues its surroundings with a greater sense of beauty, purpose, and belonging.

Yirmi received a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a BA in Environmental Studies from Oberlin College. He is currently practicing at Newman Architects in New Haven CT, where he resides with his family.
