A geometric exploration — these three-dimensional tiles are based on a tetrahedron with inner nodes upon which their prongs can rest. The result is a dynamic object which tessellates, stacks, and cobbles in myriad ways. The tiles were 3D printed and subsequently cast in concrete.
With broad architectural and industrial design applications, the tile is currently being developed into a full-scale piece of furniture - see ARBA.
